McAfee, Inc. Names David Quantrell as EMEA President
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) today announced it has appointed David Quantrell as president of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Quantrell will report to Michael DeCesare, executive vice president of worldwide sales for McAfee®. Quantrell joins McAfee from HP EMEA where he served as president of HP Software.

Quantrell is a proven leader, having worked for such companies as Mercury Interactive, NetIQ, Nortel Networks and Clarify. At HP, Quantrell was responsible for doubling the software business to more than $1 billion and managing a sales team of more than 1,000. He developed strong channel partnerships and managed the integration of various companies, including Mercury Interactive.
Prior to HP, David served as EMEA president for Mercury Interactive, where he renewed the management team and drove a change program that substantially increased revenues and margins. He previously served as vice president and general manager, EMEA for NETIQ, a systems and security management company.

Quantrell will lead McAfee's business in the EMEA region and work with former EMEA president Mike Dalton, to transition into the role by the end of Q1.
