ATLANTA, GEORGIA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2009) - In an effort to provide a fast-growing student body with convenient access to information regarding students services such as enrollment services, career counseling, tuition and fees, testing schedules and more, Georgia Perimeter College has selected a [ Hosted Contact Center Solution ] from Nortel(1) (TSX:NT)(OTCBB:NRTLQ).

Faced with the need to control costs and reduce complexity, [ Georgia Perimeter College ](2) is leveraging a Nortel Hosted Contact Center Solution to support various student services groups including the offices of Enrollment Services, Advising and Counseling, Student Financial Services, and Testing.

The new contact center will increase students' ability to access relevant and consistent answers to their inquiries and will educate them on processes and services to promote self sufficiency. The college is aligning with Governor Sonny Perdue's strategy to provide a consistent and positive customer experience across all public entities throughout the state of Georgia. Georgia Perimeter College will be the first institution in the University System of Georgia to implement this experience for its students.
