Patrick Whitesell, the executive chairman of Endeavor, has launched a new sports and entertainment company called WME Sports, which will be led by Karen Brodkin as president. WME Sports aims to represent athletes in various aspects of their careers, including endorsements, media, and personal branding, and will leverage Endeavor's existing resources and relationships in the sports industry. The company will also work closely with IMG, another Endeavor-owned company, to provide clients with access to events, media production, and licensing opportunities. WME Sports has already signed several high-profile athletes, including tennis player Naomi Osaka and NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo, and plans to expand its roster in the coming months.
