Corinne Stoddard earned her first individual World Cup short track speed skating victory, leading a U.S. one-two with Kristen Santos-Griswold on Sunday.

Corinne Stoddard, a short track speed skater from the United States, has made significant strides in her career, highlighted by her participation in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Born on May 1, 1996, in Madison, Wisconsin, Stoddard began her skating journey at the age of 10, inspired by watching the Olympics. She has since become known for her tenacity and competitive spirit, overcoming numerous challenges including injuries. Stoddard qualified for the Olympics by finishing in the top three at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 500m, 1000m, and 1500m events.
