Four schools in Iowa have been selected as state finalists in Samsung's Solve for Tomorrow competition, a national STEM contest aimed at encouraging innovation among students. The schools, which include North Fayette Valley High School, West Lyon Community School District, Central Community School District, and Sioux Central Community School District, were chosen for their creative solutions to community issues using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Each finalist will receive $2,500 in Samsung technology and supplies to further develop their projects.
