Notable names from F1 and sportscars join rally champion Rovanpera on 65-car entry list, including 31 GT3 machines

Kalle Rovanpera, a two-time World Rally Champion, is set to make his debut in the 24-hour race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, driving for the Spanish team ASA in a GT3-spec Toyota GR Supra. He will be joined by co-drivers Jorge Lorenzo, a former MotoGP champion, and former F1 driver Dani Juncadella. Rovanpera, who has experience in circuit racing from his karting days, expressed excitement about the challenge of endurance racing, particularly the aspect of driving at night. The race, part of the 24H Series, will see Rovanpera competing against familiar names like Valentino Rossi, who will race in a BMW M4 GT3 for Team WRT, and other notable drivers such as Felipe Drugovich, Nick Yelloly, and Max Hesse. This event marks a significant crossover of talents from different motorsport disciplines, showcasing the versatility of these athletes.
