Over 60 teams set to battle in NCD Governor's Cup 2024
- The highly popular NCD Governor's Cup has registered 63 teams as they prepare for the biggest single sports event in the Nation's Capital set to get underway during the festive period on December 13.
The NCD Governor's Cup 2024 is set to feature over 60 teams competing in a soccer tournament organized by the National Capital District Soccer Association (NCDSA). The event, which will take place at the PNG Football Stadium, aims to promote unity and sportsmanship among the youth. The tournament includes various age groups and divisions, with teams from different suburbs of Port Moresby participating. The competition is not only a platform for showcasing talent but also for fostering community spirit and providing opportunities for young athletes to gain recognition. The NCDSA has expressed gratitude towards the NCD Governor, Powes Parkop, for his support in making this event possible, highlighting the importance of sports in youth development and community engagement.
