The city of Kelowna, British Columbia, has been selected to host the Memorial Cup in the spring of 2026, marking the first time the event will be held there since 2004. The announcement was made by the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), highlighting Kelowna's successful bid which was supported by the local community, the Kelowna Rockets, and various levels of government. The Memorial Cup, which determines the national major junior hockey champion, will feature the champions from the Western Hockey League (WHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), along with the host team, the Kelowna Rockets.
