The annual Hampton Beach Master Sand Sculpting Classic grew out of a special event held in 2000.

The Hampton Beach Sand Sculpting Classic, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023, is set to take place from June 15 to June 17 at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. This year's theme, "Sands of Time," will feature sand sculptures created by artists from around the world, showcasing historical events and figures. The event, which began in 2003, has grown significantly over the years and now attracts thousands of visitors. In addition to the main competition, the festival includes a sand sculpting workshop, live entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks on the final night. The sculptures will be on display for a week following the competition, allowing more time for the public to enjoy the intricate artworks.
