  • in addition to her crown as Miss Michigan's Petite USA. Her role as Miss Michigan Petite has given her a platform she couldn't have anticipated.

Miss Michigan Petite, Emily Hanley, is preparing for the national pageant in Orlando, Florida, after winning the state title in May. The 24-year-old from Grand Rapids, who stands at 5'2", has been actively involved in community service, particularly focusing on raising awareness about mental health. Hanley, who works as a marketing coordinator, has been using her platform to encourage open conversations about mental well-being and to destigmatize mental health issues. She is excited about the national competition, where she will compete against other petite titleholders from across the country, and sees it as an opportunity to further her advocacy work on a larger stage.
