More than 350 former high school hockey players from Mid-Michigan competed in a tournament this weekend to raise money for the Old Newsboys of Flint and the Flint Inner City

The Alumni Hockey Tournament, held at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, successfully raised over $10,000 for the Old Newsboys of Flint, an organization dedicated to supporting local youth. The event, which saw participation from former players of the Flint Generals and Flint Spirits, not only rekindled old rivalries but also fostered a sense of community and nostalgia among attendees. Organizers expressed gratitude for the support and highlighted the significance of the funds in helping provide essential resources and opportunities for Flint's young people.
