  • Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS will celebrate its 40th running on Sunday, March 16 with a competitive field of world-class athletes. More than 25,000 runners will take on the iconic "Stadium to the Stars" course,

The 2025 Los Angeles Marathon, scheduled for March 9, 2025, will feature elite fields with notable athletes from around the globe. The men's race will include Kenya's Dominic Ngeno, who has a personal best of 2:07:07, and Ethiopia's Tsegay Tuemay, with a best of 2:07:24. On the women's side, Ethiopia's Hiwot Gebrekidan, with a personal best of 2:19:10, and Kenya's Margaret Agai, who has run 2:20:44, are among the top contenders. The marathon, which starts and finishes at Dodger Stadium, will also see participation from athletes like Kenya's Cosmas Lagat and Ethiopia's Buzunesh Getachew, promising a competitive and exciting event.
