February 5 is National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and NewsChannel 7 recognizes some cheer teams in our area.

North Bay Haven's cheer team competed at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, finishing 10th in the Junior Varsity Non-Tumbling Division.
