The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has ordered the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and its affiliate bodies to cease anti-competitive practices, including abuse of dominance and restrictive agreements.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has issued a directive to the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) to halt any unfair practices following a complaint by the All India Table Tennis Association (AITTA). The AITTA accused TFI of anti-competitive behavior, including the exclusion of AITTA from national championships and the imposition of arbitrary rules that hinder fair competition. The CCI's order requires TTFI to ensure that all affiliated state associations and units adhere to fair play and non-discriminatory practices, and to submit a compliance report within 30 days. This action underscores the CCI's commitment to maintaining competitive equity in sports governance in India.
