Dehring named new CEO of CWI

Chris Dehring is back in West Indies cricket, this time as Chief Executive Officer of Cricket West Indies (CWI).

Johnny Grave has been reappointed as the CEO of Cricket West Indies (CWI) for another three-year term, as announced by CWI president Dr. Kishore Shallow. Grave, who has been in the role since 2017, has overseen significant changes including the restructuring of West Indies cricket, the introduction of a new governance model, and the establishment of a new commercial entity, CWI Inc. His leadership has also seen the West Indies men's team win the 2016 T20 World Cup and reach the finals of the 2020 T20 World Cup. Additionally, under his tenure, the women's team has shown improvement, reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 ICC Women's 50-over World Cup. Dr. Shallow praised Grave's strategic vision and his role in enhancing the organization's stability and growth.
