On 26 May, various sports updates from the Pacific region were reported. In rugby league, the Vodafone Fiji Bati team is set to play against the Cook Islands Aitu in the Pacific Championships, with the match scheduled for 21 October at Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby. In rugby union, the Fiji Water Flying Fijians are preparing for their upcoming Test matches against Georgia and the All Blacks in July, with a training camp planned in Taveuni. In netball, the Fiji Pearls are gearing up for the PacificAus Sports Netball Series in Australia, aiming to improve their performance after a recent loss to Tonga. Additionally, in football, the Solomon Islands' national team, the Kurukuru, is set to participate in the OFC Nations Cup in June, with high hopes of performing well in the tournament.
