  • The Raptors are attributing his absence Monday to "return to competition reconditioning," which means he may need to get only one or two more practices under his belt before he's ready to play in games.

Bruce Brown of the Toronto Raptors will miss his third consecutive game due to a knee injury when the team faces the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. Brown, who was acquired by the Raptors in a trade involving Pascal Siakam, has been dealing with right knee inflammation. Despite his absence, the Raptors have managed to secure victories in their last two games without him. Brown's next opportunity to return to the court will be on Wednesday against the Miami Heat. His performance this season has been modest, averaging 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
