According to BCB's cricket operations chief, Jalal Yunus, the board is considering a Test match against either India or Sri Lanka, with a preference for Sri Lanka due to logistical ease. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance the women's team's exposure to longer formats of the game, following their recent success in T20 cricket, including a historic series win against South Africa. The BCB is also focusing on improving the team's skills in red-ball cricket, with plans to possibly schedule a Test match in the upcoming season, although no specific dates have been confirmed yet.
