The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is set to commence this week in Las Vegas, marking the 35th year the event has been held in the city. The rodeo, which runs from December 7 to December 16, features the top 15 money winners in each of the seven main events: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding. Competitors will vie for a share of the $10 million prize pool, with nightly performances at the Thomas & Mack Center. The event not only showcases the athletic prowess of cowboys and cowgirls but also includes a variety of entertainment options, shopping, and social gatherings, making it a significant cultural and economic event for Las Vegas.
