A Look at the Regional Breakdown

Each regional will feature a two-day format, beginning with preliminary sessions on Saturday, March 28th or 29th, followed by the regional finals on Sunday, March 29th or 30th. The top two teams from each regional will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships. Additionally, the top three all-around competitors who are not part of a qualifying team will also earn individual berths to Fort Worth.

Baton Rouge Regional (Pete Maravich Assembly Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana - March 28-29) The LSU Tigers, known for their passionate fanbase and consistently strong performances, are the favorites in Baton Rouge. They face tough competition from Auburn, Georgia, and Alabama, making this an all-SEC showdown. Texas Woman's and Centenary will be looking to make a splash, but advancing will be a significant challenge against these established programs.

Norman Regional (Lloyd Noble Center, Norman, Oklahoma - March 29-30) Oklahoma, consistently a national contender, is heavily favored in Norman. They'll be tested by Big Ten programs Iowa, Nebraska, and Penn State, along with Brown and UIC. This regional is likely to showcase some of the highest scores of the weekend, with Oklahoma aiming to send a clear message to their championship rivals.

Gainesville Regional (Stephen C. O'Connell Center, Gainesville, Florida - March 29-30) The Florida Gators, another perennial powerhouse, will be looking to dominate on their home turf. They'll be challenged by Minnesota, Illinois, Ball State, New Hampshire, and Towson. This regional presents a blend of established programs and teams eager to prove themselves on the national stage.

Salt Lake City Regional (Jon M. Huntsman Center, Salt Lake City, Utah - March 29-30) The Utah Utes, known for their strong tradition and dedicated fanbase, will aim to secure a championship berth in front of their home crowd. They'll face competition from Stanford, California, Arizona, Seattle Pacific, and Southern Connecticut State. This regional features a strong Pac-12 presence and could be a thrilling battle for the final qualifying spots.
