  • The U.S. Open Cup has a new home for TV and streaming viewers. U.S. Soccer and CBS Sports announced Wednesday the sides had reached a rights agreement for the tournament for 2025 and 2026, with every match from the third round onwards to be shown on the Paramount+ streaming service and select games to be simulcast on CBS Sports Network and the CBS Golazo Network.

The U.S. Open Cup, the oldest ongoing national soccer competition in the United States, has secured a new broadcasting home with CBS Sports and Paramount+ for the 2023 tournament. This multi-year agreement will see the tournament's matches, including the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final, streamed live on Paramount+ and select games also airing on CBS Sports' linear networks such as CBS Sports Network. This partnership aims to increase the visibility and accessibility of the U.S. Open Cup, showcasing the competition's diverse range of teams from professional to amateur levels, and is part of CBS Sports' broader strategy to expand its soccer coverage.
