MLS releases 2025 schedule, Orlando City to open season against Philadelphia Union

  • Major League Soccer released the schedule for the 2025 season on Thursday, and it has Orlando City opening its season at home against the Philadelphia Union. The Lions will host the Union on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at Inter&Co Stadium.

The 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) season will see Orlando City SC opening their campaign at home against the Philadelphia Union on March 1, 2025. This match will be part of a 34-game regular season schedule, which includes 17 home games at Inter&Co Stadium. The season will conclude on October 25, 2025, with Orlando City's final game against the New England Revolution. The schedule also features notable matchups like the Florida Derby against Inter Miami CF on May 17, 2025, and a game against the defending MLS Cup champions, Columbus Crew, on June 28, 2025. Additionally, Orlando City will face the new expansion team, San Diego FC, on July 16, 2025, and will have a significant road trip to play against the Portland Timbers on September 27, 2025. The season will also include a break for the Leagues Cup from July 19 to August 20, 2025.
