Warren wrestling hopes to 'build on the momentum'
- There's good news and bad news for Warren's wrestling team. "We are without two of our top placers from last season," said head coach Glenn Baldensperger, whose Dragons are scheduled to open on Tuesday at Franklin.
The Warren wrestling team is looking to build on the momentum from their recent performance at the Fred Bell Tournament, where they finished 10th out of 32 teams. Coach Brad Anderson highlighted the team's progress, noting that despite a challenging schedule, the wrestlers are showing improvement. Key contributors include senior captains Cole Bayle and Mason Wolbert, who have been pivotal in leadership and performance. The team has faced tough competition, including losses to strong teams like DuBois and Clearfield, but they are focusing on refining their skills and strategies. Upcoming matches against teams like St. Marys and Bradford are seen as opportunities to continue their upward trajectory.
