Her performance not only broke numerous records but also captivated fans nationwide, earning her widespread recognition. She received 20 votes from a panel of 37 national media members, highlighting her significant impact on women's college basketball. Clark's achievements include becoming the first women's player to lead Division I in scoring and assists in the same season, and she was also named the Naismith Player of the Year.
