A report from the first week of June suggested that there's "a path" for rookie Shedeur Sanders to win the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback job over fellow first-year pro Dillon Gabriel, veteran Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett.

Shedeur Sanders, the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, is entering the quarterback competition for the Cleveland Browns with underdog status despite his impressive college stats and leadership at Jackson State. His competition includes veteran quarterback Jameis Winston and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, both of whom have more NFL experience. Analysts believe that Sanders' lack of professional experience and the high expectations set by his father's legacy might hinder his chances, but his strong arm, mobility, and poise under pressure make him a dark horse in the race for the starting position.
