  • When the Hall of Fame Series tipped off at CFG Bank Arena on Nov. 15, it furthered the general manager's plan to focus on "one-off" sporting events and big concerts.

The CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore is undergoing a $250 million renovation to better accommodate sports and concerts, aiming to transform it into a top-tier entertainment venue. The upgrades include improved sightlines, better acoustics, and enhanced amenities to attract larger events and increase the arena's competitiveness in hosting major acts and sports teams. The project, which began in 2022, is expected to be completed by the fall of 2023, with the arena already booking events for 2024. The renovations are part of a broader revitalization effort for the area, with expectations that the arena will serve as a catalyst for economic growth and cultural enhancement in downtown Baltimore.
