Paxton argues that the NCAA's policies disadvantage female athletes by not providing a level playing field, as transgender women might retain physical advantages from their male biology. The suit seeks to prevent the NCAA from continuing these policies and demands the revocation of awards given to transgender athletes in women's events, asserting that such actions undermine the integrity of women's sports.
