  • Pete Oakley, the 2004 Senior Open Champion, took home the 65-and-older division of the Quarter Century Championship, John Hickson rode final-round 66 to 64-and-under division title, and Chuck Milne fended off fellow 50-year PGA Members to claim title.

The PGA Quarter Century Championship, held at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, saw Oakley and Hickson emerge as winners in their respective divisions. Oakley clinched the Senior Division title with a score of 1-under 71, while Hickson won the Regular Division with a 2-under 70. Both players showcased impressive performances, with Oakley's victory coming after a playoff against Bob Sowards, and Hickson's win highlighted by a crucial birdie on the 18th hole. Additionally, the event also featured the Half-Century Championship, where Milne secured the title with a score of 1-over 73, demonstrating resilience and skill in a competitive field. The championships not only celebrate the longevity and dedication of PGA professionals but also underscore the competitive spirit among seasoned golfers.
