The Golf Channel is set to broadcast a unique golf tournament called "The Q at Myrtle Beach," which will take place from June 4-6 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in South Carolina. This event features a $100,000 prize for the winner and includes a field of 16 players, with half being PGA Tour players and the other half being social media influencers. The tournament will be a match-play format, with the first day consisting of 9-hole matches, followed by 18-hole matches on the second day, and culminating in a final match on the third day. This innovative format aims to blend traditional golf competition with the growing influence of social media in sports, offering viewers a fresh take on golf entertainment.
