Over 300 athletes attend 46th annual Special Olympic Winter Games

  • Over 300 Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA) athletes will spend the next few days participating in competitions at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. From snowboarding to alpine skiing, athletes, their coaches and volunteers from all across the state will be at the resort until Feb.

The 46th Annual Special Olympic Winter Games, held at Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, saw over 300 athletes from across the state participating in various winter sports. The event, which took place over the weekend, included activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Athletes competed in both individual and team events, showcasing their skills and spirit.
