National Games: Sachin Yadav win javelin with meet record

Sachin Yadav clinched the gold medal in the men's javelin throw at the National Games held in Goa, setting a new meet record with a throw of 83.02 meters. This performance not only won him the top spot on the podium but also surpassed the previous record of 82.36 meters set by Shivpal Singh in 2015. The event saw a competitive field with D.P. Manu taking the silver with a throw of 82.87 meters, and Uttam Patil securing the bronze with 79.60 meters. Sachin's achievement adds to his growing list of accolades, having previously won a silver at the Asian Championships in Bangkok.
