The Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa) Meet 2025 officially commenced on April 1, 2024, at the University of Mindanao (UM) Matina Campus in Davao City. The event, which runs until April 7, 2024, features over 12,000 student-athletes from various schools across the Davao Region competing in 28 different sports. The opening ceremony was highlighted by a parade of athletes, cultural performances, and speeches from dignitaries including Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, who emphasized the importance of sports in youth development. The meet not only showcases athletic talent but also promotes camaraderie, discipline, and regional pride among the participants.
