  • Celtic misfit Alexandro Bernabei has been included in the Brazilian Serie A team of the season - with Internacional keen to land the wing-back on a permanent deal.

Alexandro Bernabei, a 22-year-old Argentine left-back from Lanus, is set to join Celtic in a £3.75million transfer deal. The move is part of Celtic's strategy to bolster their squad for the upcoming season, which includes participation in the Champions League. Bernabei, who has been a regular starter for Lanus, has agreed to a five-year contract with Celtic. His arrival is expected to provide competition for the current left-back, Greg Taylor, and follows Celtic's recent signing of Japanese striker Daizen Maeda. This transfer marks another step in Celtic's recruitment drive under manager Ange Postecoglou, aiming to strengthen the team's defensive options.
