Pachuca secured their spot in the final of the Intercontinental Cup against Real Madrid by defeating Al Ahly in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in the semi-final match held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The game was intense, with Al Ahly taking the lead through a penalty by Hussein El Shahat in the 80th minute, only for Pachuca to equalize in the 90th minute via a penalty from Salomon Rondon. The match went into extra time, but no further goals were scored, leading to a penalty shootout where Pachuca triumphed 5-4. This victory sets up an exciting final against Real Madrid, who are looking to add another title to their collection.
