Michigan Football has officially announced the signing of transfer quarterback Jack Tuttle from Indiana University. Tuttle, who has one year of eligibility remaining, previously played under Michigan's new offensive coordinator, Kirk Campbell, when Campbell was at Indiana. During his time with the Hoosiers, Tuttle appeared in 15 games, starting four, and completed 57.4% of his passes for 901 yards, with five touchdowns and six interceptions. His transfer to Michigan is seen as a move to bolster the quarterback room with experience and depth, especially following the departure of J.J. McCarthy to the NFL. Tuttle's familiarity with Campbell's offensive system is expected to facilitate a smooth transition and contribute positively to the team's dynamics.
