  • Fiji Sports Council operations manager Litia Senibulu has revealed that there are plans in the pipeline to extend their FSC U20 7s Series and include other sports in the tournament next year. She adds there are ongoing talks to include other sports like volleyball and the inclusion of 15's rugby to the tournament.

The Fiji Secondary Schools Competition (FSC) is set to expand its sporting events to include more sports and increase participation from schools across Fiji. According to FSC Chair, Vuli Waqa, the expansion aims to provide more opportunities for students to engage in sports, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and competitive spirit. The initiative includes the introduction of new sports and the enhancement of existing ones, with a focus on inclusivity and reaching out to schools in rural and maritime areas. This move is part of a broader strategy to foster a culture of sports at the grassroots level, ensuring that more students can benefit from the physical and social advantages of sports participation.
