  • The 17th-ranked Razorbacks will be in a different environment when they compete at No. 12 Auburn at 6 p.m. Friday on SEC Network. Where they opened on a neutral floor in a quad meet on a podium, they will now be in a dual meet in a traditional road SEC venue.

The No. 17 Arkansas gymnastics team is set to face No. 12 Auburn in a road meet, aiming to improve upon their recent performances. Arkansas, coming off a season-high score of 197.125 against Georgia, is looking to build momentum. Coach Jordyn Wieber emphasized the importance of consistency and mental toughness, especially after a challenging meet against LSU where the team struggled with landings and vaulting. The Razorbacks are focusing on refining their routines and maintaining their competitive edge, with key contributors like Lauren Williams, who scored a perfect 10 on vault, and Maddie Jones, who has been consistent on the uneven bars. The meet against Auburn, a team with a strong home record, presents a significant challenge as Arkansas seeks to enhance their performance in all four events.
