  • Nat Johnson replaces the injured Laura Rafferty in the Northern Ireland women's squad for their Nations League double-header against Romania.

The article from MSN Sports reports that Northern Ireland's women's national football team has had to make a last-minute change to their squad ahead of their UEFA Women's Nations League match against the Republic of Ireland. Defender Rebecca Holloway has withdrawn from the team due to a family bereavement. In her place, 20-year-old midfielder Ella Haughey from Linfield has been called up. Additionally, the team is already without regular left-back Demi Vance, who is out with a long-term injury, and her replacement, Abbie Magee, who is also injured. Consequently, 18-year-old defender Ellie-Mae Dickson from Cliftonville has been added to the squad. The team, led by manager Tanya Oxtoby, is set to face a challenging match against the Republic of Ireland, who are ranked 24th in the world, while Northern Ireland is ranked 47th.
