Arkansas track indoor opener includes Texas, Oklahoma State

  • The Longhorns are in their first year in the SEC and are coached by former Arkansas national champion triple jumper Edrick Floreal (1988-90). He has coached a pair of team national champions at Texas, winning indoors with the men in 2022 and outdoors with the women in 2023.

The Arkansas Razorbacks' track and field teams are set to kick off their 2025 indoor season at the Arkansas Invitational, hosted at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. The event, which includes teams from Texas and Oklahoma State among others, will feature a variety of track and field events. Arkansas, known for its strong track program, will look to build on its legacy with performances from both seasoned athletes and promising newcomers. The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. on Friday and continue through Saturday, with live results available online and a live stream provided for fans to follow the action.
