Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships to return to Kalamazoo

  • Kalamazoo will once again be the site of an elegant competition on ice. U.S. Figure Skating will come to Kalamazoo for the 2025 Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships from Jan. 27 to Feb.

The Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships are set to return to Kalamazoo, Michigan, from January 25-27, 2024, at the Wings Event Center. This event, which last occurred in Kalamazoo in 2019, will feature teams from the Midwestern Section of the U.S. Figure Skating Association competing for a chance to advance to the National Championships in Las Vegas. The championships will include various levels of competition, showcasing the precision, artistry, and athleticism of synchronized skating. The event not only highlights the sport but also brings economic benefits to the local community through increased tourism and local business engagement.
