Fred Vasseur 'not worried' about Leclerc and Hamilton competition
- Having signed Lewis Hamilton on a multi-year contract, Ferrari are in a unique position heading into 2025. The Scuderia have one of the most highly anticipated driver line-ups in history - which comes with advantages and challenges in equal measure.
Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur has expressed confidence in managing the competition between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, who will be teammates starting in 2025. Vasseur, who has previously worked with both drivers, believes that their competitive nature will push each other to perform better, ultimately benefiting the team. He emphasized that the key to handling such dynamics lies in ensuring both drivers have equal opportunities and maintaining clear, open communication. Vasseur also highlighted that the team's focus should be on providing a car capable of winning, rather than worrying about internal rivalries. He dismissed concerns about potential conflicts, stating that both drivers are professional and understand the importance of teamwork in achieving success.
