  • Rahanna Guzzetti and Emerald Cronin have been climbing for a couple of years now, taking part in the USA Climbing Youth Bouldering Championships.

The Canfield girls' climbing team is set to participate in the USA Climbing Youth National Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah, from July 10-14. This event marks a significant achievement for the team, as it is the first time in the program's history that they have qualified for nationals. The team, which includes members like Ella Kocheran, who has been climbing for six years, and others who have been involved for a shorter period, has shown remarkable progress. They qualified by placing in the top 10 at the regional championships in Columbus. The competition will feature various climbing disciplines, and the team is excited to compete against the best young climbers in the country, showcasing their skills and the growth of the sport in their community.
