The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on July 4, 2024. This event will set the stage for the tournament, which is scheduled to be hosted by Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The draw ceremony will determine the groups for the 24 participating teams, marking a significant step in the buildup to the competition. This announcement comes as part of CAF's ongoing efforts to promote and organize one of Africa's premier football events, ensuring logistical and competitive readiness.
