The NFC took an early lead in the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Competition, largely thanks to standout performances by Jared Goff and Justin Jefferson. Goff, the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, excelled in the Precision Passing event, scoring 24 points to help the NFC secure a 9-3 lead. Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings dominated the Best Catch event, earning three points for the NFC with his impressive catches, including one where he leaped over a moving vehicle. The NFC's lead was further solidified by other events like the Lightning Round, where NFC players like Micah Parsons and Puka Nacua contributed significantly. The NFC finished the first day of the competition with a commanding 12-6 lead over the AFC.
