Jesuit boys, girls win 3rd straight team titles at Class 6A swimming state championships

  • The Crusaders' boys and girls swim teams each won their respective team titles at the OSAA Class 6A swimming state championships on Saturday at the Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center.

The Jesuit High School boys and girls swimming teams both secured their third consecutive Class 6A state championships at the Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center. The boys team amassed 107 points, narrowly defeating Sunset High School, which scored 104 points. Key contributors included senior Andrew Ko, who won the 100-yard freestyle and was part of the victorious 200 freestyle relay team, and junior Finn Brophy, who took first in the 500 freestyle. On the girls' side, Jesuit scored 118 points, with standout performances from senior Ellie Kay, who won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke, and junior Ava Bushell, who clinched the 500 freestyle. The championships highlighted the depth and talent of Jesuit's swimming programs, with both teams demonstrating strong performances across multiple events.
