In a thrilling match at the Asian Champions League, Anderson Lopes scored twice to help Yokohama F Marinos secure a 3-2 aggregate victory over Shandong Taishan, advancing to the quarter-finals. The game, which took place on March 11, 2025, saw Lopes score in the 17th minute and again in the 68th, with the latter coming from a penalty kick. Despite Shandong Taishan's efforts, including a goal by Chen Pu in the 54th minute, Yokohama managed to hold on for the win.
