3 Peninsula kids from Axsom Martial Arts represent US in world competition in Serbia

Three youngsters from Axsom Martial Arts in Newport News were part of a United States team of 25 that went to Serbia for the International School Sports Federation Gymnasiade Games for athletes age…
Three young martial artists from Axsom Martial Arts on the Peninsula, aged 10 to 13, are set to represent the United States at the World Martial Arts Games in Serbia. The kids, who have been training rigorously, qualified for the international competition after excelling in national tournaments. Their coach, John Axsom, expressed immense pride in their achievements and highlighted the dedication and hard work that led to this opportunity. The event in Serbia will see them compete against top young martial artists from around the globe, showcasing their skills on an international stage.
