Youth Safe Driving Competition held in Enola

The Youth Safe Driving Competition, held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, aimed to educate young drivers on safe driving practices through a series of challenges. Organized by the National Road Safety Foundation in collaboration with the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety, the event saw participation from over 100 high school students from Clark County. The competition included activities such as a distracted driving simulation, a drunk driving course, and a timed obstacle course, all designed to highlight the dangers of reckless driving behaviors. Winners of the competition received scholarships and other prizes, emphasizing the importance of safe driving habits among the youth.
