H.S. GOLF: Six GR golfers qualify for Section V championships

The article from The Daily News Online reports that six golfers from Genesee Region League qualified for the Section V Championships following their performance at the Section V Class B and C tournament held at Livingston Country Club. The qualifiers included three from Oakfield-Alabama/Elba: Ryan Woodworth (77), Matt Phillips (80), and Clayton Bezon (81), and three from Byron-Bergen: Jason Pflaumer (81), Colin Martin (82), and Brock Coniber (83). The tournament saw participation from 10 teams, with Oakfield-Alabama/Elba finishing third and Byron-Bergen placing fifth. The Section V Championships are scheduled to take place on May 23 and 24 at The Links at Greystone.
