The Los Angeles Lakers have been sold to a group led by Todd Boehly for a record-breaking $10 billion, making it the highest valuation ever for a sports franchise. The sale, which was announced on Tuesday, surpasses the previous record set by the sale of the Brooklyn Nets in 2019 for $3.3 billion.
